Oh Happy Day!! :)

A little history first...

My mom and I were both collecting a Mediterranean Dollhouse.
Every month, for two years, we got a parcel delivered by courier,
with 4 episodes (books with info,
all of the house in parts and miniatures!)
Today the courier came with the last (3) episodes...
So now our houses are complete! :)

We kept all those pieces in boxes on the attic for the whole time ;)
Next week we will go over the boxes with all the parts
to check if everything is there...

This is an example from the finished house,
not the one we (are going to) build!

My house has to stay in those boxes, because it is way to big
to give it a place in my own miniature house! lol.
But in a while... I will help my mom with her house!! :)
And I am really looking forward to that.

I think she will build it in it's original state,
as it is showned on these photo's
But my Mediterranean Dollhouse....
Well I think that will get a bit more shabby look;) ... later!

These last parts came today toghether with the electric parts.
I am soooo excited!
I love this house, it's a nice project to look forward too.

  1. Dat huis ziet er wel heel mooi uit!!! Jammer dat je zelf niet kan beginnen, maar je moeder meehelpen is ook leuk!

  2. congratulations is a beautiful house! Enjoy!
I have already seen it in other blogs, the end result is very satisfying!
I also would like Mediterranean house like this, but my hut already holds a great place, and if I buy another doll's house, my husband files for divorce .. ha ha!
    you get my email ?????
    kisses, Caterina

  3. You are going to have so much fun! I would really love a Medirerranean house too, as it is so different from the "typical" dollhouses.

  4. Yes I agree it is a very typical style for a dollhouse and that makes it a bit unique.
    I don't mind waiting with it ;)
There are so many other great miniature projects to work on :)

Caterina, I just looked at my mail and I have got yours!! :) THANKS!!!
    I will write you back...

    Hugs, Jollie

  5. I have already seen this house on the Spanish site of the publishing house and I am in love of it.
Unfortunately they don't send in Italy. You are very lucky to have the opportunity to help your mother to build it because it is really very beautiful.
I also believe that a touch shabby will be very well us!

  10. Oh, it is beautiful. It looks like real good quality, too. I've had one of these weekly collection dolls houses years ago but it was really, really cheaply made.

  11. Thank you all so much for your wonderfull comments! :)

    Warm hugs, Jollie

  12. je viens de découvrir votre site. Vous faites de jolies choses.
J'ai fait le mas provençal en ajoutant un escalier et en faisant les sols en "terre cuite"
C'est une très jolie maison, qui peut se transformer.

  13. I started my mini adventures in a similar way back in the 90's, with a subscription to a traditional English dollshouse. It never did get finished but it introduced me to a wonderful world that has had me fascinated ever since. Love the look of your Meditteranean house kit.
    Mini hugs
